Licentiate of the Master Photographers' Association!

Last Sunday, I was awarded Licentiate in Childrens' Portraiture with the Master Photographers' Association.

I was required to present a panel of 20 images with quite specific requirements; 5 images from each of 2 portrait sessions, and then 10 further images from other sessions that fit into a cohesive panel.

Below are the 20 images I chose, along with a couple of images of the judging on the day. The judging panel comprised of some of the UK's top Photographers and Trainers, including the legendary Trevor and Faye Yerbury, and Ross Grieve. My panel was printed on Fine Art Alpha Rag paper, and mounted, which made the colours look stunning against the black backdrop. It was quite something to see it in person, and I'm so glad that I can now add the letters LMPA to my name!

So I'm now Rachel Thornhill LBIPP LMPA ... and the skills that I've learnt in the process of qualifying I will carry with me for every shoot from now on.

So let's see what 2020 holds!

With love, Rachel x
